If you're aiming at a goal, do you know how to start working for it?

The Screeing is 1-on-1 time with your primary coach. We aim to map what your goals are and where you are now on that same map. It helps us coaches understand what you want to achieve, and it also gives us information to work with. We believe that "what you measure, you improve".

What we look at varies from person to person - depending on your goals and how many screenings we have done together. We chose from the following:

PRIORITY ANALYSIS

This is the part where we want to understand what role fitness has in your life - and we aim at creating an image of how the rest of your life looks like to know what to prescribe in training way.

FLEXIBILITY / STABILITY TESTS

The classical battery of tests that aim at pinpointing mobility issues. For example, if your shoulders are too stiff it makes shoulder strength workouts inefficient, or sometimes even dangerous. We'll therefore want to fix the stiffness before starting to add on strength.

The priority chain on how to progress with fitness would be like this:

Pain (eliminate) -> Position (=flexibility) -> Stability (static holds) -> Strength (movement) -> Power (speed) -> Endurance

MUSCLE BALANCE

Looks at the records we/you have of your lifts, to compare how balanced you are strength-wise: pulling vs pushing, upper body compared to lower body, etc. Being well-rounded prevents problems with wrong mechanics and helps create a better athlete.

MOVEMENT / POSTURE / GAIT ANALYSIS

Looks both at how you stand to eliminate pain and unhealthy movement patterns, as well as differences between sides of the body (left and right).

COMPETITIVE ATHLETE PROGRESSIONS

If you're interested in competing in the sport of fitness, CrossFit, we can and should crunch numbers to know what weaknesses and strengths you have. Once we know it's just a question of filling the holes.

WHAT IS FULL BODY ASSESSMENT?

The Start-up Meeting and Progress Meeting is included in all membership options and it is completed every 3 months together with a coach, as a test-retest cycle, to check in on your goals in overall fitness and potential development areas in your physique.

It is also possible to book a Full Body Assessment, ie a fitness evaluation, with us at 69€.  This will give you a clear understanding on your general fitness level, flexibility issues, together with personalised advice and a program on what to work on in order to get ahead with your athletic goals!
