WEEKLY PROGRAMMING

CrossFit is varied functional movement and energy systems training. We'll do CrossFit the year around, but focus a little bit extra on certain parts during each season.

  • Spring we work on strength.

  • Summer is aerobic conditioning.

  • Autumn is skill work.

  • Winter we intensify and combine all above in the feast that is the CrossFit Open.

Talking programming is our favorite thing, so if you want to know more, come in for a meeting and we'll explain further.

Fitness

DURING THE PANDEMIC

We thought we’d share our cleaning plan.

 

 

  • EVERYBODY washes their hands immediately when entering the gym. Soap is proven as efficient as antibacterial versions, and rinsing the hands will actually clean your hands, as opposed to just kill the shit on them like alcohol or peroxides do.

  • The athlete cleans  equipment such as Kettlebells, Dumbbells, boxes & Weights with a chlorine solution (chorine efficiently kills off both viral and bacterial contamination).

  • Coaches will wipe off pull-up bars and rings between classes.

  • We mop the entire gym floor with a chlorine solution EVERY SINGLE DAY.

  • Bathroom and Shower is sanitized daily.

  • We do not use large fans or air-based conditioning machines while the virus may be an airborne threat.

  • Vacuum cleaning is done before classes when the air has been settled for a night or more, and the floor has been sanitised.

 

On top of that, if somebody has flu like symptoms they need to stay at home, as directed by THL or the Health Stations/Hospitals.

Normal cleaning routines:

 

  • Always if you bleed on any equipment, the equipment is cleaned and sterilised with bleach or a disinfectant. 

  • For wound care we recommend soap and water - same as the Red Cross First Aid units use.
