Assess: Key Areas
PREHAB = Fix it Before it becomes a problem.
The three problem areas we often encounter are Knees, Lower Back and Shoulders. Problems can be soreness, tightness and aches or pains. Often these pains vanish with strength training.
If there are any warning signs, we can dig deeper into the FLEXIBILITY, STABILITY and STRENGTH of the support muscles in and around the problem areas: this will allow us to fix a problem before it becomes a problem.
For problems that are painful (<5/10) and have lasted longer than two weeks we'd refer to a professional who is trained in pathologies, ie a medical doctor or a physiotherapist. We are strength and conditioning coaches, and can help you with the next steps, when a physiotherapists work is done, or support you in that journey.
